- Hacli Kilise Café
Located in the Rose Valley of Cappadocia, you enter this restaurant with wooden staircases, beside the Church of Cross dating back to the 9th century. This café has a huge shady terrace and is perfect for fresh juices after a long walk. The best time to visit the café is during afternoons, which will cool the temperatures and the rocks glitter in a shade of pink. Remember! You can only reach this café after hiking your way through it.
- Orthisar Evi Wine House
When you’re done with exploring the Ortahisar Castle, and this café cum cave wine house is the best place to get refreshed. The place is beautifully decorated and has rooms dug in the rock. It offers locally produced wine which you can ask for tasting. Wine making is an ancient activity in the Ortahisar that has been continuing since the Bronze Age, and the tombs used to have wine pots with huge evidence of wine making in Cappadocia. - Hiva Terrace Café
Recently opened by a French guide, Hiva Terrace Café is located in a small village of Cappadocia, Mustafapasa. The café resembles the very theme of Turkey, traditional and modern. It’s a cozy place that serves delicious kofte, which are beef or chicken balls served with rice and salad. You can also have salads and pastas that are fresh and homemade. You can either have your food on the terrace or in the comfortable ambience of the café.
- Gokundere Café Breakfast
A café with a shady terrace but spectacular views of the fairy chimneys. It is located in the Gorkundere Valley, near the Goreme Open Air Museum, Cappadocia, which is a short walk, or you can take a small bus ride from Goreme bus station. It would be a bumpy dusty ride, but it will take you to the café. Gorkundere only offers authentic Turkish food and drinks and that too during the mornings, as the name suggests.
- Coffedocia
With an open-air patio and instagrammable décor, Coffedocia is one of the best places to have a perfect cup of coffee in Cappadocia, situated in the center of Goreme, you can drop by any time for some Turkish tea and hookah break. It specializes in serving some of the best local Turkish food. You must try Aside, a Turkish dessert made with molasses.
- Café Safak
A café that will not create a hole in your pocket and offer you some of the Turkish food in Cappadocia. The café is run by a mother and son where all the food is cooked by Ali’s mother. It’s a small café in Goreme, with cheap food and the eggplant dip is highly recommended, it’s so good that one bowl won’t satisfy you.
- Fat Boy’s Café
A perfect place for hanging out in Goreme, where you can be comfortable on the sofas or sit on the fat cushions in the terrace in Cappadocia. It is said that in Fat Boy’s Café Australia meets Turkey, because the menu consists of several local dishes and some burgers, sausage rolls, nachos, Australian meat pie and Vegemite on toast. It also has a bar which offers affordable alcohol.
- Han Ciragan Café
Covered with beautiful vines on the terrace, Han Ciragan is a place that is loved by both locals and tourists, who want to enjoy some food and relax in Cappadocia. Their anise-flavored raki, Turkey’s national drink is very famous which you can have with homemade meze, anchovies or braised tongue. It also offers some Belgian beers, whereas wine lovers can enjoy the Cappadocia wines. You can enjoy your food on the terrace below the vines, or in decorated rooms.
